What is Love?

What is Love, Baby don't hurt me...

What is really love, is it something that bad that our elders see it with suspicion, people are often afraid to express it and where they say it happens only once, there seems to be a fashion of falling in love.

I have been in it, and I believe I am still in it. A simple statement or just a word does not change anything. Love is a feeling, it is something really beautiful!

When your heart starts pounding so hard, that you can feel it beating, loud and clear, whenever you see someone, and your eyes are diving from one end to the other when you are waiting for someone. When your mind pops thousands of situations when you are waiting for someone and the person is late, and when you swear to God to kill anyone who either humiliates or troubles someone. When all these things happen for one person, then that is LOVE!

Love is a wonderful feeling, it gives you strength to stay away from your loved one and still stay in love. When it becomes difficult to breath, love gives you the strength to smile.

Ironically, Love is your Greatest Strength but also your Biggest Weakness! But whatever it is, it is one special feeling to be in. Trust me, cause for as long as I live, I'll be in love!

The Patriots

When Indian cricket team glorified the world with their amazing World Cup win, the entire woke up to a feeling of joy and happiness never felt before. Their were tears, belly dancing (by bellies better covered, though) and the Flag. Everyone cheered the hard work and honesty of the team and basked in the glory of the God of Cricket. During the match, the entire country stood still and even a childish remark about the team loosing could have been rewarded with lifetime imprisonment. But behind all this joy and festivities, I am forced to think, “If only the nation felt the way it felt, always.” Hypothetically speaking, if the team would have lost (though I always prayed for their victory) fans would have made the life of the players a living hell, and this no secret as some of the most eminent players have even voiced their concern about the pressure they faced. If only we would make the life of all those people who made a the progress of the nation living hell, wouldn’t we have al

The Indian Culture

Being part of SPIC MACAY, I had the rare honor of organizing a series of performances for Padma Vibhushan Pt. Birju Maharaj. As a volunteer it also gave me a chance to be in his presence and learn at his feet, not dance but some lessons for life. And as   a volunteer of SPIC MACAY I have had the honor of learning from many other great artistes.  Since I have associated with SPIC MACAY I have been continuously bombarded with the question of the state of our culture. It was always a question of great thought for me too. Why is it that you have to work so hard to make a presence of your own culture in the heart of the youth? They don’t have any knowledge and neither do they want to have any.  After being a part of that age myself, I was not able to find a satisfying answer. But once I sat for Padma Vibhushan Pt. Birju Maharaj’s performance, I realized what all the answer staring at my face. If you observe, the beauty of Indian art is that it is not just some movement or just

In Support to Fight Against Corruption

Kisan Baburao Hazare, or as we better know him as "Anna Hazare", has really brought the nation to rise and stand up against an illness we were aware of but didn't do much about. Today the entire nation stands in support of his cause and the bill that he has proposed. All this debate has really forced me to think about the root cause of the problem. Why do we have corruption and where did it all start? I was discussing the same with a very close friend of mine, when I realized that we, the citizens of India, have given birth to this parasite, and now it has made home in our nation. Whenever we need to get some official work done or get some clearance from a government agency, the first thought that comes to our mind is about giving bribe. There would be plenty of people who would have bribed their way to get their driving license and plenty others who would do the same to get other work done. Aren't we directly feeding corruption? If we make a stand and decide
